Calvin Klein Underwear 25th Anniversary and launch of Steel

Last night, Calvin Klein Underwear celebrated the brand’s milestone 25th anniversary with an invitation-only event co-hosted by Djimon Hounsou, the current face of Calvin Klein Underwear, and Hilary Swank, who was featured in Calvin Klein Underwear’s Fall 2004 advertising campaign.
The event was held at a custom-designed space on the ground floor of Calvin Klein, Inc.’s New York City headquarters. With music by L.A.-based DJ Brent Bolthouse, guests moved across a custom ‘steel’ floor to get a better look at the center-piece of the room: a visually stunning Lucite box suspended high above the custom bar, where 20 models dressed in Calvin Klein Steel were on display.

Twenty8Twelve Boutique Opens

Friday saw the much anticipated opening of Sienna and Savannah Miller’s Twenty8Twelve boutique on Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill.
The opening was preceded on Thursday by a party hosted by the sisters at The Lonsdale club close to the store. Needless to say it was a star studded affair filled with Sienna and Savannah’s friends, family and acquaintances and attended by such luminaries as Mario Testino, Matthew Williamson, KT Tunstall, and the ever loquacious Rhys Ifans.
Much fun was had by all, with the dancefloor well and truly rocking into the early hours.

Philosophy Holiday ‘07

Modus Dowal Walker chose a sumptuous suite at the top of the London’s Covent Garden Hotel as the location for this year’s Philosophy – Holiday Press Launch, which had beautiful exposed beams, fireplace and helped to build the traditional seasonal theme.
The suite had a ‘Dickensian’ air with open fireplace, exposed wooden beams criss-crossing the space and all of which was styled with wreaths and greenery to create a richly decorated space that sets off the Philosophy Holiday 07 products perfectly.

Kean Etro
The Etro Spring / Summer 2008 show took place on Tuesday 26th June in Milan at their new show venue, The Ice Palace. Built in 1923, the Gothic building was once the largest ice rink in Europe. It was the perfect showcase for Kean Etro’s exuberant collection, inspired by the South American jungle. Bright clashing paisleys, checks, stripes and floral prints were teamed with coffee dyed cotton suits. The bright colours carried through to accessories - bow ties, socks, panama hats as well as shoes and bags. The prints and colours put a smile on the models faces; the boys at the Etro shows always look like they are having a lot of fun.
