Napapijri AW 08 at Pitti L’Uomo
Napapijri were present in Pitti L’Uomo in Florence from Wednesday 9th – Friday 11th Jan. The stand was designed to complement the Autumn / Winter 08 collection and featured a ceiling of odds and ends and collectable objects.
Napapijri, whose roots are firmly in the Far North and polar expeditions, presented the collection in full awareness of the “Climate Challenge” and in its ongoing commitment to protecting nature and the environment against the effects that climate change can bring. The word Napapijri means “Arctic Polar Circle” in Finnish, so the brand itself is an appeal to support to polar ecosystem.

Salvatore Ferragamo Men’s Collection AW 08
Salvatore Ferragamo’s Autumn / Winter 2008 menswear collection is the 8th season for designer Massimiliano Giornetti. The collection focuses on tailoring and luxurious fabrics and showed at today in Milan. The theme and inspiration came from The sky over East Berlin on the eve of the city’s reconstruction, The Lives of Others - Dim interiors in the wan elegance of sepia, setting the stage for artists and intellectuals in the shadow of a new Germany.

Crowds descend on Pitti Uomo AW08
We’ve only just turfed out the Xmas tree and are well aware we need to trim down those extra festive kilos, so what better way to lose the excess baggage than by setting off on the new Autumn/Winter 2008/9 season fashion carousel.
First stop, Pitti, in Florence where we are presenting Canali and Napapirji…..
