Backstage At LFW With Bumble & bumble #5 Maragret Howell

Super luxe, tumbling waves were in abundance at Margaret Howell A/W 08.
Neil Moodie for Bumble and bumble created wide glossy curls, inspired by the All American glamour of the 70’s and 80’s.
Hair was parted on the side and tonged into wide sections before being held in place with Bumble and bumble’s Does it All spray.

Erdem AW08 Catwalk Show

At 2.30pm on Valentines day, Erdem showed his Autumn / Winter 2008 collection which proved to be his best yet.
The eponymous London ready-to-wear line established in 2005 by Erdem Moralioglu, has won plaudits for its modern luxurious feminine chic - a signature look fusing sharp, forward tailoring with romanticism and bold graphic custom designed silk prints.
Erdem drew on couture influences for his exaggerated but refined silhouettes, combining his signature prints - this season a computerised blurred floral - with hand-worked embroidery and multicoloured Swarovski crystals.

What The Front Row Are Talking About Today #5 Daily Rubbish
It’s what everyone’s talking about… Daily Rubbish has been keeping the fashion pack amused and updated all week.
The Rubbish paperboys and girls are outside all the shows to deliver the news. Behind the scenes Jenny Dyson and her team are working late into the night creating Rubbish for the next day.
Favourite regular columns include: fashionable finger puppets - there’s 6 to collect and they can be ordered from the website; Through the Keyhole, where the reader has to guess the identity of a fashion insider; a pullout poster to collect and Crystal Tips - the columnist obsessed by sparkle and all thinks Swarovski.

Nathan Jenden AW08 - The Secret History

Fighting with the intense London Bridge station rush hour crowds, the eclectic mix of uptown New York editors, gushing family and friends and wacky fashion students had to find a tiny Alice in Wonderland door in SE 1 to enter Nathan Jenden’s gothic, dungeon like world to view his ornate , skillfully cut collection… amazing atmosphere, just needed a torch..!

Backstage with Bumble & bumble at LFW #3 bérubé

Mark Bailey’s inspiration for the hair at the bérubé AW 08 show was a homage to Camden.
Sharp centre partings and sculptural, plaited buns were piled high on the head to create an almost ‘mickey mouse’ silhouette.
Key Bumble and bumble products used included Brilliantine, Hair Powder and Surf Spray - the cult session stylist’s must have.
