The launch of Benefit’s forthcoming B-Spot fragrance was a swinging, girly affair at Vanilla in Great Titchfield Street on Wednesday.

Burlesque inspired pole dancers mesmorised the crowd and the mini Benefit Boutique had both British and European beauty press indulging in ‘maker-uppers’, lash tinting and Benefit’s legendary Brow services.

Green Beauty Bible

To celebrate the launch of the Green Beauty Bible an industry ‘green’ breakfast was hosted by Jo Fairley and Sarah Stacey in conjunction with CEW.  Over 180 beauty guests from the beauty industry attended the launch at the Avenue in London. 

The event was held in association with top UK supplement, You Magazine and a host of green beauty brands.  MDW organised a photo call with two of the Green Goddesses featured in the book – Jo Wood and Liz Earle.

Paul & Joe Inspireé

A slice of 16th century history within the concrete jungle of London, provided the inspiration for the Paul & Joe Autumn Sparkles Launch, Inspireé on Wednesday. Beauty press were treated to a visual and sensory journey as they walked into The Old Curiosity Shop in Holborn which was transformed in a vintage florist for the day.

International Makeup Artist Craig Ryan French presented the key looks for Autumn ‘08 with a particular focus on strong, defined brows that had many a journalist walking out of the shop and onto the Tube, with beautifully structured eyebrows, a-la Veronica Lake.

St Tropez Sunbathers Flash-Mob St Pancras Station

Summer has officially arrived!  MDW staged a 30 strong ‘flash mob’ of fashionably tanned models at London’s St Pancras International to launch St Tropez’s new ad campaign and support Sun Awareness Week. 

The troop of bronzed models stripped off amongst bemused commuters and ‘sunbathed’ in Speedos and bikinis to highlight the safest alternative to sun exposure.
