NARS PRESENTS SS10 TRENDS AND THE HOTLY ANTICIPATED…ORGASM ILLUMINATOR

Yesterday, a bevy of online journalists and blogger beauties braved the chill of January’s night air for a peek at the forthcoming SS10 makeup trends straight from the New York catwalks.
Welcomed with a warming glass of bubbles and tasty bespoke NARS cupcakes, press were put through their fashion week paces by International Makeup Artist for NARS, Jane Richardson. Kicking off with a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the NARS team at Marc Jacobs, Thakoon, 3.1 Philip Lim, Derek Lam and Marchesa, followed by a breakdown of the products used and looks created by Francois Nars and his team.
This was more than sufficient to fill the beauties with utter contentment however, as usual, NARS surpassed all expectations as Jane introduced the ardently anticipated Orgasm Illuminator. The genuine shrieks of delight that this aroused, coupled with the stunning luminous glow it gave our fave web writers, assures me that this latest offering is sure to be yet another jewel in the NARS crown. Kudos Mr Nars, kudos.

Temperatures had plummeted the afternoon of Canali’s second catwalk show in Milan, but once inside the arena editors were distracted by llana Yahav, a sand artist who introduced each theme of the collection with a beautiful sand picture. The Canali collection has evolved for Autumn / Winter 2010, shapes, lines, style and creativity for both the urban man with an eye for a trend as well as the more sophisticated and romantic, all finished with the unmistakable quality and luxury of Italian made clothing. 2010 also sees the launch of the Kei collection that now includes beautifully tailored suits and overcoats and the ‘Milano’ collection with its sharp tailoring and unmistakable metropolitan personality.
