LONDON FASHION WEEK: SASS & BIDE AW10: SHOW

image

London Fashion Week: Sass & Bide: Show

Tomorrow the great is a visual collision of nature and industry; an all-consuming collective celebrating the drama of contrast and contradiction.
a modern take on Edwardian style evokes a sense of faded grandeur with high-necks and structured styles embellished in an eccentric mix of shell, bone, metal and perspex.
strong shapes and clean silhouettes make way for a graphic clashing of stripes, zig-zags and ethnic print-work, completing the cross-cultural aesthetic.
presenting, tomorrow the great.

London Fashion Week: David Koma: Show

Amazing 2nd show (held today at the Freemasons Hall, WC2) for David Koma following his graduation from Central Saint Martins. Graphic feminine structures in Napa leather and Italian wool with masterful zip embellishment, all inspired by Italian futurists Fortunate Depero and Umberto Boccion. Impressive front row attendance with the likes of Sarah Mower, Louise Wilson and Joan Burstein all congratulating David on such a strong show. Looking forward to the season ahead. Well done David !

MILAN - MENS - AW10 - CANALI CATWALK SHOW

image

Milan Mens - AW10 - Canali Catwalk Show from Modus Publicity on Vimeo.

Temperatures had plummeted the afternoon of Canali’s second catwalk show in Milan, but once inside the arena editors were distracted by llana Yahav, a sand artist who introduced each theme of the collection with a beautiful sand picture.  The Canali collection has evolved for Autumn / Winter 2010, shapes, lines, style and creativity for both the urban man with an eye for a trend as well as the more sophisticated and romantic,  all finished with the unmistakable quality and luxury of Italian made clothing.  2010 also sees the launch of the Kei collection that now includes beautifully tailored suits and overcoats and the ‘Milano’ collection with its sharp tailoring and unmistakable metropolitan personality.
